Dear all,

Aalberts Industries N.V. is proud to inform you about the acquisition of Schroeder America. Last February 16th, Aalberts has reached an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Schroeder Industries, Inc. (DBA Schroeder America). Schroeder America is located in San Antonio, TX, USA. This new relationship strengthens Aalberts’ position in the global Beverage Dispense market.

Jud and George Schroeder, who built the company with an experienced management team, founded Schroeder America. Schroeder America is known for its strong innovation and patented products, such as bar guns, non-carbonated post-mix and beverage dispensers, carbonators, chillers, and accessories.

The Schroeder America product lines are 100% complementary to our existing dispensing technologies by Taprite (also in San Antonio, Texas, USA) and DSI (Hamm, Germany). By combining our portfolios to utilize our strong brands, sales & distribution channels, we are able to offer an even more complete dispensing system to our global customers. We see many possibilities to improve our supply chain, optimize our manufacturing and strengthen our R&D developments.

DSI, Taprite and Schroeder America will form the Aalberts Industries Beverage Dispense Group, under the leadership of David Lease, who also has been appointed as the Managing Director for DSI Getränkearmaturen GmbH. Mr. Heiko Wiebel has re-joined our group as Global Sales Director to support the new structure and to follow the challenging group targets. Former DSI Business Development Manager, Mr. Emiliano Facchi, has returned to fill a managing role in Global Sales and Marketing.

Besides acquisitions, Aalberts has invested over 2 million Euro into automated manufacturing equipment at DSI, because of their long term vision to further develop their Beverage Dispense business. DSI, through successful renovation of certificates ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, is now fully compliant with market and environmental requirements.

Best regards,

David Lease,
Managing Director
